DEBT ALERT: Platinum Assets and Developments Limited – Insolvent and Still Trading

Our company alert this week is regarding Platinum Assets and Developments Limited. A building development company with a registered office in Cuthbert House, Tyne and Wear. This company had owed our client £60,000 plus interest (the Debt) and costs. On 25th October 2024 our client assigned the debt to Insolvency & Law Ltd. We are committed to recovering these funds.
Platinum Assets and Developments Limited is one of many companies owned by William Jackson. These include the brands of Platinum, Northumberland Living, Genesis, Southbrook Gas, West Chevington and more recently Aventurine Climate and Verdant Global. The older companies have experienced significant troubles with payment of interest on Loan Notes. Additionally, there have been issues with redemption at the end of the term of Loan Notes.
Not being able to pay your debts when they fall due, satisfies the definition of being insolvent. Nonetheless Platinum Assets and Developments Ltd is still trading. Furthermore, we can report that the company has 3 unsatisfied CCJ(s) at a cost of £18,918. In addition a connected company – Southbrook Gas Limited, was wound up by court order on 20.11.2024 following an HMRC petition. Another connected company, Platinum Energy Solutions Ltd, also has a winding-up order filed as of 26.04.2024.
William Jackson
The main Director and shareholder, William Jackson, is a mysterious individual. There are very limited publicly available images of him across his many websites. He prefers to hide behind his staff to do his business washing up.
Nevertheless, as Platinum Assets and Developments Ltd is evidentially insolvent, Insolvency & Law intends to litigate this debt. This can be done either by a County Court action or via insolvency proceedings i.e. a petition to wind up the company. If this company owes you money, please make contact with Insolvency & Law immediately via investigations@insolvencyandlaw.co.uk.
Lastly, if you are owed money by any company that is refusing to pay for whatever reason, and you believe the debt to be rightly due to you, please make contact with Insolvency & Law via investigations@insolvencyandlaw.co.uk to discuss your options.
