Job Description
Following completion of our training programme, the Telesales Manager must become fully conversant with our marketplace and demonstrate knowledge and ability.
The Telesales Manager will be required to manage, develop and lead a sales team of least 5 members to consistently exceed individual and team targets.
The Telesales Manager is required to take part in training, coaching and motivating team members to higher achievement and help them to build profitable, ongoing business relationships with new and existing clients, with an objective to establish a strong pipeline of repeat business.
Training - The Telesales Manager will have responsibility for managing KPIs, productivity, outcomes and good team relations, through training, coaching, and regular meetings and leadership.
The Telesales Manager must ensure that ongoing skills development, training and coaching is carried out on a regular basis.
Productivity - The Telesales Manager is required to ensure that agreed call levels, productivity and activity is met. Equally, standards of performance must be met and maintained. In addition, agreed ratios of calls to pitches and pitches to orders must also be reached and maintained.
Administration - The company has a CRM system which must be fully and properly utilised at all times. There are procedures in place for seeking and processing new orders from clients that must always be maintained.
Errors - Misunderstandings and errors must be kept to an absolute minimum through ethical selling and proper administration of orders. All orders must be signed before delivery commences of a service.
New ideas – The Telesales Manager is required to put forward ideas to keep motivation levels high as well as new ideas for developing the team and better systems to improve the telesales operation.
Literature – The Telesales Manager is required to take part to improve existing or develop new sales literature so that it is fresh and effective at all times.
Recruitment - The Telesales Manager is required to ensure that newly recruited team members receive due attention and support to commence a professional career with the company and to successfully, and with due regularity, secure new orders through telephone sales.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Telesales Manager with a proven track record of growing and developing telephone sales teams to higher achievement and leading by example.
The Telesales Manager will possess the necessary skills, attributes and attitude that is necessarily required to succeed in a constantly challenging sales environment.
