Why you should complete this questionnaire
If you invested in a loan note or other product connected with the 79th Group, you may provide information about what you saw, understood, and relied upon when deciding to invest. This evidence may assist I&L in evaluating potential recovery rights that may exist beyond the insolvent issuer.
How can you provide information?
You can complete the questionnaire online or, alternatively, download a copy to your device.
Complete the secure online form
Complete the same questions online, then upload any relevant documents before submitting the form.
Download and email the questionnaire
Alternatively, download the Investor Reliance Questionnaire, enter your information, and email the completed document with any supporting documents.
What Information is useful?
- The product, issuer, amount, and date of each investment.
- The information you reviewed before investing, including brochures, information memoranda, websites, webinars, presentations, emails or introducer communications.
- Any reference to professional advisers, legal advisers, trustees, security arrangements, governance structures or board and advisory roles.
- What you understood those references or arrangements to mean at the time.
- Whether, and how, they influenced your decision to invest or invest again.
- The sums presently outstanding and any repayments, distributions, or compensation received.
Documents you may upload
Relevant documents may include investment certificates, subscription agreements, information memoranda, brochures, emails, screenshots, archived webpages, webinar materials, adviser or introducer communications, and contemporaneous notes.
*Please retain the originals. Where possible, upload the original electronic file rather than a screenshot. Do not alter documents. You may redact unrelated personal information belonging to other people.
Important information before you submit
Your submission is non-binding
Completing or returning the questionnaire does not assign any claim or legal right to I&L. It does not commit you to participate in any action, enter into any agreement, or incur any fee. Any future proposal concerning an assignment would be made separately in writing and would require your express agreement.
What I&L is doing
I&L is gathering and assessing factual information concerning investments made within the wider 79th Group structure. The information provided may be used to identify common themes, investigate potential recovery rights, evaluate claims that may be available for acquisition, and obtain advice from independent regulated professionals where appropriate.
What this page is not
- It is not an offer or invitation to invest, and it does not promote any investment product
- It is not an offer to provide claims-management services, legal representation, or litigation services
- It is not legal, financial, or investment advice, and it should not be relied upon as such
- Submission does not create a solicitor-client relationship, retainer, agency, fiduciary relationship or duty to commence or fund any action.
- I&L does not guarantee that any claim exists, will be acquired, will be pursued, or will result in a recovery.
No finding of wrongdoing
I&L is conducting a factual investigation. No court has made any finding through this investigation that any professional firm, adviser, trustee, director, introducer or other third party is liable to investors. References to possible reliance, responsibility or recovery rights are investigatory only. Any person or organisation concerned is entitled to respond to allegations and to dispute liability.
Independent advice and time limits
You remain responsible for protecting your own position. Completing the questionnaire does not stop any limitation period or other deadline. If you may have a claim, you should consider obtaining independent advice from an appropriately authorised or regulated adviser without delay.
