Our company alert this week is regarding two connected companies – Abode Homes (Southborough) Ltd and Abode Homes (Horley) Ltd. Both have a registered office in Tunbridge Wells, Kent and are both building development company’s.  Abode Homes (Southborough) Ltd had owed our client £17,859.13 plus interest (the Debt) and costs. Adode Homes (Horley) Ltd had owed our client £10,517.10 plus interest (the Debt) and costs.  On 14th August 2023, our client assigned both of the debts to Insolvency & Law Ltd. We are committed to recovering these funds.

Not being able to pay your debts when they fall due, satisfies the definition of being insolvent. Nonetheless Abode Homes (Southborough) Ltd and Abode Homes (Horley) Ltd are both still trading.

Furthermore, we can report that this year Abode Homes (Southborough) Ltd has two unsatisfied CCJ(s) at a cost of £6,395 and the accounts are due having been due in April this year. The last accounts file in November 2023 for YE 310722 show the company to be balance sheet involved for (£22,713).

With the ultimate shareholders being companies related to these Directors.  It seems like desperate times for these companies and their Directors/shareholders.
